Fintech - Algorithmic Trading Micro-Course
Course Objective
Algorithmic trading leverages the speed advantage of computers combined with algorithms to identify fleeting financial trading opportunities in a very short period of time. It not only overcomes the challenge of seeking profitable opportunities through large amounts of data in a limited time frame but also helps to avoid trading losses caused by irrational behavior of investors. This course aims to provide students with the opportunity to personally engage in hands-on practice, allowing them to experience the wonders of fintech.
Target Audience
Students from the university's undergraduate program (second-year and above), continuing education program, and graduate students are eligible to apply. However, students who have exceeded the standard graduation period are not eligible to apply for this program.
Financial Media Micro-Course
Course Objective
The investment environment is filled with various types of information and noise every day. Who can be trusted, and who cannot? Which should be considered, and which should be ignored? Financial media plays a crucial role for investors!
This course aims to combine the fields of finance and mass communication to cultivate media professionals with financial expertise, providing audiences with reliable references for making sound investment decisions.
Eligibility
√ Students from the university's undergraduate program (second-year and above), continuing education program, and graduate students are eligible to apply.
√ Students who have exceeded the standard graduation period are not eligible to apply for this program.
Application Process
√ Apply to the original department according to the schedule specified in the university's academic calendar.
√ After approval by the department chair, the application will be reviewed by a committee composed of members from the Department of Finance and the Department of Mass Communication. Upon approval, it will be forwarded to the Department of Finance for registration.
